Today is September 30th, and tomorrow (October 1st) will mark the start of the double festival holiday. Below are our holiday arrangements and relevant information for your reference and planning:
This year's double festival holiday will last for 8 days, from October 1st to October 8th. Our company will fully resume normal operations starting from October 9th, covering all business modules including order processing, manufacturing, logistics and delivery, and customer service. As the only long holiday in the second half of 2025 and the last long holiday after the Spring Festival and May Day Holiday, we hope our employees can spend the festival with their families, have a good rest, and provide you with more focused and efficient services after the holiday.
The coincidence of the two festivals this year is due to the "leap month" adjustment mechanism of the Chinese lunar calendar (the lunar calendar is based on the cycle of moon phases, and a leap month is added every 2-3 years to align with the Gregorian calendar). This makes this year's Mid-Autumn Festival (October 6th, the 15th day of the 8th lunar month) fall right within the National Day holiday, creating a precious moment that combines "national celebration" and "family reunion". These two festivals carry distinct yet equally profound meanings in Chinese culture:
National Day (October 1st) originates from the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949 and is an important festival symbolizing national independence and national cohesion. Every year on this day, five-star red flags (a symbol of the country) are hung on the streets of cities, and various activities such as themed light shows and historical achievement exhibitions are held in different places. People either take their families to visit red memorial halls to review the country's development history, or participate in public welfare volunteer services to spread social warmth. This festival is not only a commemoration of history, but also a window to show the unity and vitality of Chinese society and the people's yearning for a better life.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival with a history of thousands of years, and its core connotation is "family reunion". The ancients believed that the full moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes "completeness", so the most representative customs of the festival are "admiring the full moon" and "eating mooncakes". Mooncakes are round like the full moon, with either sweet fillings (such as lotus seed paste, red bean paste) or savory fillings (such as salted egg yolk, minced pork). They are not only seasonal delicacies, but also a symbol of sharing reunion with family. In addition, lanterns painted with landscapes, flowers and birds are hung among the people.
